Refund Eligibility
- Your request is within 7 days of your initial subscription or renewal payment
- You have not used any credits from the current billing period
- You have not accessed or downloaded any premium content
- Your account is in good standing
- More than 7 days have passed since payment
- You have used any credits — even a single credit
- You have created or downloaded any content using the platform
- Your account has been terminated for Terms of Service violations
How to Request a Refund
Step 1 — Submit Your Request
Contact us via email at cubeberry@cuberry.kr or call +82-70-8095-2302 (Mon–Fri, 10:00–17:00 KST). Include the following:
- Your account email address
- Order or transaction number
- Date of payment
- Reason for your refund request
Refund Timeline
Request Review — 2–3 Business Days
We review your request and verify eligibility. You'll receive an email confirmation of approval or denial.
Refund Initiated with Eximbay — Same Day as Approval
Upon approval, we immediately process the reversal through Eximbay (our payment gateway).
Payment Gateway Processing — 3–5 Business Days
Eximbay processes the refund back to your card network.
Funds Appear in Your Account — 5–14 Business Days
Credit card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days. International transactions may take up to 14 business days. Weekends and bank holidays may extend this timeline.
Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial refunds for:
- Unused credits within a billing period
- Unused days remaining in your subscription
- Plan downgrades mid-billing period
Cubeberry.AI operates on a monthly subscription model. When you subscribe, you receive your full credit allocation and platform access for the entire billing period upfront — regardless of how much you use. This is consistent with standard SaaS subscription practices.
Subscription Plan Changes
Upgrading Your Plan
Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged a pro-rated amount for the price difference based on the days remaining in your current billing period.
- Pro benefits activate immediately
- Previous credits remain, new tier credits are added
- Next billing cycle charges the full new plan price
Downgrading Your Plan
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
- You keep current tier benefits and credits until the period ends
- Unused credits from the current period will expire at period end
- No refund is issued for the price difference

What Happens After You Cancel

Failed Payments & Grace Period
Common Reasons for Payment Failure
- Insufficient funds or credit limit reached
- Card expired or invalid details
- International transaction blocked by your bank
- Incorrect billing address or CVV
- Card issuer fraud prevention system triggered
What Happens When a Payment Fails
Immediate — Email Notification
We notify you via email and retry the payment after 3 days.
Day 3 — First Retry
We attempt payment again automatically.
Day 7 — Second Retry
Final automatic retry. You have 7 days total to update your payment method.
Day 7+ — Subscription Cancelled
If all retries fail, your subscription is cancelled. You can reactivate at any time.
Grace Period
During the 7-day grace period you retain limited access to view (but not create) content. You cannot use credits. To restore full access, update your payment method in account settings — your subscription resumes automatically upon successful payment.
Disputes & Chargebacks
If You Have a Billing Concern
- Email cubeberry@cuberry.kr with your order number, date, amount, and a clear description
- We will investigate and respond within 2–3 business days
- We commit to resolving all legitimate billing disputes in good faith within 30 days
What Happens if You Initiate a Chargeback
- Your account is immediately suspended pending investigation
- We submit evidence to Eximbay including transaction records, usage logs, and email history
- Eximbay typically has 7–21 days to respond to chargeback claims
If a chargeback is found to be unjustified or fraudulent, your account will be permanently terminated. You may be liable for chargeback fees ($15–$100 per incident), our legal costs in defending the chargeback, and collection of amounts owed. Filing a false chargeback claim may constitute fraud.
Payment Processor Responsibilities

State-Specific Cancellation Rights
Some states provide additional cancellation and refund protections:
- California: Automatic renewal terms are disclosed clearly at signup. A clear cancellation mechanism is required and provided in your account settings.
- New York: Additional consumer protection provisions may apply.
- All States: Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under your state's consumer protection laws.
